My silver and red six speed 3.2L Boxster S
Recent changes: 18" Carrera light 5 spokes (21 pounds)
7.5" up front 9" in the rear. Freshly mounted RA-1 Toyos.
How are they? VERY sticky and they actually work in the rain! sorta...
Going from Miata brakes to BoxsterS brakes all I can say:
Porsche braking is very Nice.
Recaro Pole Position 911 GT3 seats (Boxster Red)!!!!
You'll save about 30 pounds over the Lazy boy chairs that come stock and you can sit much lower. As one guy at the last event said "They hold you in like a Mofo". Harness Bar and Six point Schroth harness belts are coming.
Here are the Schroth's in RUF's BoxsterS

My old Car
1.8 Miata lots of Autocross tweaking: FM Springs, KYB AGX 8 way adjustable shocks(A++++), FM shock mounts, Racing Beat Solid Sway and Jackson Racing Strut Tower. Slap on the Falken Azenis and this car is super glued to the course. But a little tail happy! Compared to my ULTRA predictable and SOOOO forgiving BoxsterS the Miata was much more fun for Autocross Racing.
Bling: (low profile headlights instead of the giant Herbie love bug lights,16" BBS RK Wheels & aero kit. She now lives in Boca Raton. After seeing my car online for sale the new owner flew up one Saturday morning to New Jersey, I picked him up at the terminal,he paid me cash and an hour later he drove it right back to Florida! Impulse Buyers.
Winter wear: Carbonfiber-look bra with fender guards. The car came with a full StonGuard clear plastic bra (can you see it in the photo?) it covers the hood, front bumper, headlights, fenders, below the refueling lid, and the mirrors. I'll use the black vinly bra for Autocross and Porsche Club DE's at Pocono Raceway.

Why do they put these things on cars in this country?!
SuperCup RS inlets, nice job Johannes from United Arab Emirates.

The original 986 Boxster Concept Prototype (1993)
This is the car that saved Porsche from going broke in the early 90's.
Before the Boxster 1993 concept was turned into a production car in 1997, Porsche in one production year sold less than 1,000 cars in North America. Porsche today sells 30,000 cars in North America alone which is more than double of that sold in Germany. Porsche Auto Group (PAG) is now the most profitable car company in the world. Big thanks to the Cayenne SUV now nearly half of all Porsche sales. Who would have ever thought..and suv.
"Boxster 3.4 SC" aka CaymanS
