Custom 9.5" EDGE torque converter. 3000 rpm stall, 2.4 STR. ( This and the 3.73:1 is the biggest bang for the buck )
This is an early run with just headers and cold air kit. 239 rwhp & 287 rwtq. Lot's of room to grow.....

Boost + RPM + stock pistons + too much spirited driving = 80% blowby on 2 cylinders.
Ring lands. Aren't those supposed to be on the piston?
On the road to recovery. 2nd attempt is not the $400.00 rebuild as above. Block was bored and honed .030" with torque plates. Main bores line honed and studs have replaced OEM bolts. Cylinder deck was milled .020" to correct angles and bump compression.
Setting and checking crank thrust. ARP studs and 4340 Eagle forged crank.
Checking camshaft timing and specs. This is a custom ground blower specific cam from Comp Cams.

J-E forged blower pistons, 8.5:1 compression. Underneath is a set of Eagle forged H-beam connecting rods.
Custom file to fit Speed-Pro "Hellfire" rings.
Using piston to square the ring in it's bore.
Many hours filing and measuring.
SRP -24cc forged blower pistons will provide a true 8.5:1 static compression ratio.
