THE NEW STUFF!
the 99 GP TourqeStar rims...over 20lbs lighter each than the factory cutty rims

we got all the thermal insulation mats to help keep the heat out of the interior, finally have the Autometer UltraLite electric sending unit gauges for oil press, water temp, and Boost
i now have the steel plate for the flanges i need for the turbine flanges, i have the 3inch OD mandrel bent aluminum tubing for the cool side air plumbing.
aaaand...Al got a great cash/trade offer for his SBC Blazer project...we got two older serial port pent MMX Toshiba satellitePro laptops for the MegaTune software for the two seperate (eventually the front will be also) MegaSquirt DIY EFI ECM's
650$ fer the Blazer roller, 700r4, some of his 383 parts, mount adapters and headers...now before you think woah...Al has 300$ in the project parts they're buying (The reaallllly want the completly rust free frame/body)
and we get to keep the S10/SBC swap, 350$ aluminum BeCool radiator for the rear 3800 :willynilly:

we are making out like bandits and because of this, the 442 will stay on stands getting reworked, at this point we might as well finish the engine compartment interior panels and the rear inner wheel wells, turbo fabrication, the new 1/8th inch aluminum firewall, and the changes we are making for weight removal/simplification (brake line plumbing, and the 3/8ths inch aluminum hard fuelline and AN 6/8 plumbing for the fuel system.

plus we have a 3800 fer the front...an L36 amalgamation...while i work on my SI/SII tall deck hybrid side project.

oh and a new pic of the SI/SII tall deck 3800 Hybrid, yes you can mix n match the SI/SII brackets...

BTW, we just opicked up the external wastegate and BOV to go with the turbocharger on the LN3...we also have the electric sender autometer gauges for monitering the rear engine/trans/boost.
Turbosmart Ultra-Gate 38

Turbosmart Type 1 BOV

Autometer electric sender ultra-lite gauges (so far we have oil pressure/water temp/boost-next up is A/F, EGT, engine oil temp, our chepo rear engine tach works fine..fer now

this might give ya a clue what the eventual SI/SII Hybrid 3800 will see boost wise ...the LN3 we'll probably end up blowing up at 18psi...if the trans doesnt scatter first
we'll be using a two stage mechanical/solenoid boost controller for the external wastegate...

as fer the speedo we'll be keeping the factory cluster till the 3100 goes bye-bye...then it's all ultra lite's
we will soon be getting a fuel level sender fer the fuel cell but for now it will go to the factory gauge.
yuuuup goin faster

the new hand formed sheet metal inner fenders are in...just need to do some more finish grinding and painting
the fuel system is almost set but i still have to do the 2 into 1 return line

and we still have to delete the extra brake lines and plumb the Summit adj proportioning valve where it will be accessable from the drivers seat

the new mounts are almost done fer the light as all hell aluminum rear radiator (13 lbs vs the old brass unit at ~40lbs) and work is now progressing quickly on the sheetmetal/sheet aluminum rear firewall/fuel cell enclosure
