94 Z28 RPO code 1LE (1 of 135 94 Z28 1LEs) which included or excluded the following:

Balanced and blue printed engine (so I have been told by GM insiders). I think that is bull though. Although they did program the ECM differently.

Close ratio trans (Corvette ratios) giving it a top speed of 167+ mph from the factory

Engine oil cooler

Stiffer and lowered Eibach springs

Revalved Decarbon shocks

32mm front sway w/ poly bushings and end links

Harder durometer rear bushings (for 94 the 21 mm rear sway bar was an option, I found this out after ordering 21 mm bushings and realized they were too big)

The following deleted from the factory or not allowed as options: a/c, fog lights, cruise, no power anything (but it does have rear defog and 6 way manual seat), no sound insulation and intake elbow silencer delete.

The following mods were done so far:

RK Sport short lip spoiler

Billet grill

Black rally stripes

AZ Speed and Marine CAI

Removed MAF screen

Air foil on TB

New Spring 05: March underdrive pully set, crank is billet and generator powder coated black steel.

1.5 gold series roller rockers

LT4 valve springs

Hardened pushrods

Edelbrock shorty headers + Y pipe

High flow cat

Flowmaster 3" cat back with 40 series single 3" in and out

MSD blaster coil

Taylor wires

NGK Iridium plugs

NOS fuel pump

Hypertech programmer

Centerforce Dual Friction clutch (late 2006)

Aluminum drive shaft (no, the 1LEs didn't get this until later)

B&M ripper shifter w/flaming eyeball shifter knob

Skip shift eliminated

ROH 17X8.5 FireHawk style wheels which
look similar to the Impala SS's (soon to be ZR1 17X9 w/17X11 rears) w/crappy Kumho Ecsta Supra 274/40 ZRs (they came new with the car)KWDs out back nowadays, still want to upgrade!

21mm rear sway bar

New UMI parts as of spring 05:

Rear tubular lower control arms from UMI with new greasable polyurethane bushings powder coated bright red.

Strut tower brace from UMI powder coated bright red.

On car adjustable panhard bar from UMI powder coated bright red.

Power Stop rear cross drilled rotors w/ power stop pads pads (4 now).

Power Stop front Cross drilled rotors with VGX pads

I also gutted the rear seats, belts, spare, jack etc...

For tunes I installed a Pioneer P5000MP head unit with Pioneer 3 and 4 way coaxial speakers all around, as of winter 05 I installed an Infinity 2 channel amp bridged pushing 283 watts RMS into a 10 inch Sony Explode which is installed in a custon fit MTX box, and a 4 gauge Rockford wiring kit with twisted audi cables. It now sounds just the way I like it but I need a cap for higher volume/longer low level sound (ie long, deep bass).Summer 06, I installed a red top Optima Battery.

During the summer of 2004 I had it Dynoed at Livernois after winning a couple of "Livernios Friday night Street Races" at Milan (one of the things you win is a dyno pass). It put down 284 hp and 308 ft pounds @ the wheels and they only brought it up to 5700 RPMs.
This is not bad considering it hasn't been fully tuned and has 75K on the engine. It was replaced at 9000 miles by one of 6 other previous owners who many of which I think sold it thanks to the old drive shaft yoke. It started shaking like a crack head at just 90 mph.
Hope I didn't forget anything and I will scan some pics of it when I get the chance.

I have had it to the strip several times winning 2 out of 3 brackets I entered it in at the Milan/ Livernois Friday night street races. It's best to my memory and slips I can find is a 13.662@103.90 w/2.193 60 ft. I have had much better 60s but after I installed the poly control arm bushings to kill wheel hop it now spins like all hell into second gear. I still ran a 13.7.

As of now (Jan 08) I have a small pile of goodies for the car but I want to save the have the engine rebuilt since I heard a tick, went to replace the lifters and found a mini switch on the TB and the old lifters were gauled to poop. This car has had a hard life, harder then intended for but it is in good hands.

OK, tick was some FUBAR lifters, gualed to piss so the cam is coming out. The engine still makes good oil pressure and uses none at all so not time for that rebuild just yet, not that I can afford it until some of the herd is sold off.

So, the goodies for 2008:

BFG Comp Gs, well, not so new but never really enjoyed them since the car was put up on stands just after I got them.

Removed body kit, it's for sale except for the spoiler. I prefer the stock lines other then the GMMG cars

Holley 52mm billet TB

Bilstein shocks Matched for 1LE springs

Stainless Brake Lines

March Pulley set, both pulleys

Added the girdled differential cover, I actually noticed a lil less lag. Yes, i am that sensitive to changes.

New rack and pinion, saved the old for rebuilding

Soon to aquire Comp cams 305 camshaft

Replacing timing set with new factory unit.

The Black Z28SS (RIP) was totaled when I was rearended by a dipshat in a 89 LX Stang convertible. It had the 2 on the left stainless SLP exhaust, level 2 suspension (eibach lowering/higher rate springs and Bilstein shocks/struts), Hurst short throw shifter, was a hard top, graphite leather, Bose, pwr everything, blacked out windows and Comp T/A ZRs. The only mod I ever did if you want to call it a mod was a Holley air filter. In Phoenix on a hot night I ran a 13.977@102.21 w 2.264 60ft (terrible 60 still). This equated out to a 13.46@105 after correction for altitude (2000+ feet), temp etc...which was better then GM recorded for them.

This red/orange clear coated third gen was my first F-body. I had this car for 7 years and had a lot of fun in it. I even took home some trophies = 1rst 2nd a 3rd and an honerable mention at local pontiac shows. It was just a 305 4bbl car but it had a 2 1/2" exhaust with high flow cat, Dynomax turbo muffler w/dual outlets, K&N filter, tweaked quadrajet, several sound systems (always a Pioneer head unit) ranging from 2 Kicker invert comp 15s in a custom box, 4 way 6x9s, to 2 10" JBL GTs in a box I made myself. The wheels were 17X8 billet American Racing w/Perreli P-Zero Supersport ZRs.

If the current owner is out there (it was bought by a young girl near Waterford) please drop me a line. I see it now and then and it still looks good.
