1989 Corolla GT-S

No, it's not rear wheel drive, but it does have a 1.6L 20v engine out of the Toyota Levin from Japan. Here's some pics of the progress.

To my Knowledge the 1st Toyota production motor with VVT (Variable Valve Timing). It's like Toyota's VTEC.

It has 10.5:1 compression.

The motor is equipped with individual throttlebodies, redlines at 8000 RPM and makes 160 hp. Which isn't bad considering (100 hp/liter)
