For your viewing pleasure is my wifes 1994 Olds Bravada.Powered by a Holley injected 383
This is Mama's little grocery getter, it's been lowered about 4" with tires and suspension, Helwig sway bars front and rear and Bilstein shocks.Needs paint, leave a vote in the poll and help me decide what color to paint it,or leave an idea in my geustbook.
There it is,a 383 stroker stuffed into a 94 Bravada.Topped off with a 750 cfm Holley fuel injection system,on an Edelbrock manifold. The A/C,anti-locks and other stock systems all function,as well as the 4L60E transmission.

Still stock leather interior, havn't decided what to do.

This thing just flat wont spin the tires, with a 3:73 posi, all-wheel drive and the 4L60E's low 3.08:1 first gear, this thing launches like it was shot out of a gun and the first to second shift under full throttle is just brutal,I think it's causing me neck problems, got to get into the trans computer and soften it up a bit.Might have to put in better seats, the original leathers are comfortable but they dont give side support to match the handling that the suspention mods have given,it handles like an all-wheel drive 4 door corvette.

Well it finally happened, partialy due to a 16 year old and new driver in the family and partially due to that damn Holley Fuel Injection system I've pulled the 383 for rebuild

This is the new one.I've found a guy named Troy Howell who took my stock computer and reprogramed it to run the TPI,he also took my stock wiring harness and rewired it for the TPI.This is gonna be alot easier than before

As you can see the K&N filter is on the throtle body, that meens no mass air flow sensor,Troy was able to program it as a speed density system(What a genious)Now our little Bravada will think it's a 92 Vette

And a new pair of Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads will help it breath a little better,we also ported the base manifold and plenum as well as pounding our balls through the runner tubes to remove the factory bolt divets to help flow.(Steel Balls)

A new pair of Sanderson Ceramic coated headers should make my Flowmaster sound good and finish our breathing project.

And for the things you can't see,we had 3 bad rod bearings,a bad main bearing, broken rings on 1 piston and a cracked crankshaft(No dad I wasn't street racing really!)Many thanks to my good freind Scott at RPM Engineering for the quality rebuild,he put in a new Eagle internally balenced crank so I can use 350 balencer and flywheel,we figure 425HP consevatively.
