Interior
MDM242's 1995 Mazda MiataBoss Frog Rollbar(Spring 2006) Had a local shop install clear-view rollbar.
MDM242's 1995 Mazda MiataOther double diag. bars block the view from rearview mirror. This bar seems to do a better job with bar spacing. BTW...love my new lic. plate.

"Tan-ectomy"...going from tan to black
I bought some used black carpeting. The pieces in the set were correct, just cheap + not what I expected. I removed the tan carpeting + installed the black carpet. Lost some padding, probably a few pounds, but wish I had original black carpet...that would be sweet.

Also...sold my leather seats + HR speakers for a pair of black cloth seats...love these babies!

My family is awesome!!! Xmas 06...they bought me a Corbeau racing seat + Willians 4-point racing harness. Very awesometastic!!!

Bought a used black dash...then I heard how difficult it is to swap. I should of taken my own advise + researched the process. I do this sometimes...I make goofy mistakes + do not think things thru. So...I heard about painting a dash. It didnt turn out great, but good. Lots of prep taping(I took my time + did it right), and used Krylon Fusion plastic spray paint from my local Walmart. Like I said...good, not great...I notice it, but others dont until I show them. So far...so good.

Winter (2008) Bought a pair of black interior door panels...will install before spring.

Summer (2008) Installed door panels w/o any problems. The panels were used from a Miata.netter and a screw-gun made the install a breeze. The only problem is that the back of the arm-rest is not connected to the door. The top and middle fastners are secure, but not the rear. Looks fine, but when the back of the arm-rest is pulled on...it separates alittle from panel.

Your domain is very nicely done, I enjoyed reading it...I envy all of you Autocrossers. If I only had the time...someday! However, with the topic of paint jobs and colors out there I think you can never beat all black! But, I'm a little partial.

you should just get the kit to drop a 5.0 in it.... they do 0-60 in under 5.5 seconds with the stock 5.0 liter v8.... and the handling isn't affected one bit

Nice page! Have fun with the autocross. I've got the Falken 615's on my car- way better in the rain than the 215's

Great start with your page on the Miata. You could use more pics though. My brother has been wanting to purchase one for a long time. I hope he gets one so that I can play with it a little too. Anyway, good luck with your mods and have fun with it. Come check out my Stealth if you have a chance.

I love the color of our cars as well as the interior styling... looks like you and I have the same color combo, so you know I love it! If you need any parts or upgrades, check out www.miatamania.com or www.gomiata.com !
