Engine + Drivetrain
It is Spring 2006 and several modss were just finished last week. Purchased a rollbar and had local shop install it. While in shop, had the mechanic change the MTL fluid. Seems to shift a bit nicer and cleaner. I also changed the spark plugs and wires. I ordered a maintenance kit from "Go Miata" and wires and plugs were next to do. The plugs were pre-gapped, but I checked them anyways and both plugs and wires were easy to finnish in 45 minutes. Windy now has 44K miles and running great.
Fall 2007 - JRSC just installed...Oh my my...
This little car can move w/ some boost. I know there are larger super chargers out there, but I do not have mega-bucks to spend. AXing in 2008 should be a blast!
Summer 2008 - JRSC is running w/o problems. It is so much fun zooming around town...especially taking corners. The noise of the exhaust would be my only complaint. I have a hi-flow cat and a JR cat-back exhaust...and with the super-charger...it can get loud. I don't relly mind much...this is my summer toy and my AX "zoom zoom" machine.
