These are some pics of my '86 Cavalier. It's kinda special to me for nostalgic reasons, and this is my second one like it, my first was in worse shape, and later met its fate when it lost a fight with a pole, it seems this car was meant for me as it waited patiently for 5 years till I bought it. As far as I know, the car is all stock , witch will change once I come accross some time and money....one day it will happen.....but anyway if you may or may not know, it is becomming increasingly difficult to find parts for this car cause 1) they no longer make 2.8's (LB6) any more and 2) they made this 1st gen LB6 for 1 year, '86, alot of people who are familiar with this car refer to it as a 1 year only car, in '87 they switched to the 2nd gen LB6 witch are a dime a dozen, but don't share too many external parts, witch makes me wonder, wouldnt the '87 be a 1 year only too? I mean, the Z24 was introduced in '86, and they dropped the hatch all together for '88 with the newer body. Anyway its rarity is just another reason to keep it, ya don't see too many of these cruisin around here OldZ24's 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier OldZ24's 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier

So far, the only mods that have been done are the fog lights, the '87 (functional) cowl hood, and the stereo system. Soon I plan on tinting the windows black, and repainting the car, Im also thinking about black rims, and mabe black outs, I think this car will look bad ass all black, since there is no chrome what so ever on this car. I'll put some more pics up as I progress I'm sure so stay tuned, tax time is right around the corner :D

I know this may sound lame to some, but I have always liked the first generation Z-24 Cavy's. They have good handling, firm ride, and a powerful V-6! Yours looks to be in pretty good shape too! Check out my page and let me know when you get some new pics! Later.....
