Hello there and welcome to my page.

My name is Nick, I'm 44 and live just to the South-East of London, England, near Junction 4 of the M25.

This is my 1995 Mk1 Mazda MX5 1.8iS in Laguna Blue, which I acquired in May 2004. It's pretty well-spec'd with electric windows, mirrors & aerial, ABS and PAS.

It's a fabulous little car to drive and I'm planning to keep it for a loooong time. The Mk2 & 2.5 just don't have the same character IMHO although hopes are high for the forthcoming Mk3.

These pictures were taken in February 2005. A modest programme of modifications has been drawn up, with some to the interior, but nothing that will alter the outside shape of the vehicle. So far I've replaced the worn out gear stick gaiter with a leather one plus a matching handbrake cowl.

I've also installed a K&N freeflow air filter, which has made small, but noticeable improvements to the acceleration, throttle response and engine note. Next up: IL Motorsport front chassis strut, 14? timing advance and Xenon headlamps; probably in June.
