Jame510's 1971 Datsun 510

This is my 1971 Datsun 510 2 door. I bought it in early December of 2004... because I'm a dumbass! I bought the car for a ridiculous price because I let myself believe the seller's B.S. and more B.S. I apologize if I sound angry from the get-go, but I was so naive at the time and I felt like kicking myself in the ass... and the nuts just for being so stupid!Hahaha... To sum it all up, I had a pretty nice budget before I bought it (the car), and now I can't do the SR20DET swap I have for it! I'm just gonna go with the KA24de which is an okay engine.

Here are some pics around the car. The exterior is pretty straight except for the bottom of the driver's side door which my friend's dad replaced... Thanks Mr. Hill!

Here's my interior before stripping most of it down to see what trouble,if any, was hiding behind the panels and dash. The dash and seats are really nice, but I still want some racing seats in the future.

See that SR20DET? That engine's sitting in my garage. See my car's empty engine bay? Guess what? I'm not putting that engine in! I'm trading with my friend for a KA24DE, some SSR mesh rims, modified 280zx struts with Dave Turner coilovers, and some other stuff. I know what you're thinking, "keep the engine!" I really want to keep it, but my budget won't let me anymore... atleast anytime in the next few years.
