Independent Rear Suspension
The decision was made early on to go with an IRS setup. A Jaguar XJ 12 IRS was used as a donor to come up with a few of the parts and the rest were fabricated.
A lot of work went into this; the lower arms were shortened as were the half-shafts. A complete "clip" was designed and fabricated to hold the diff, shocks and provide a solid, but easily serviceable mounting system.
