My father bought it in 2001 in a small town of East Borneo province named Balikpapan. actually, it's a 1998 Daihatsu New Rocky. however, it,s not a version that everyone knows, which is usually appears as 3-doors with fibre hardtop and noticeable Independent Suspension (F78, 1996 >> today). What u see here is the same platform, same wheelbase with additional 2 doors and flat roof of steel. This is, as I know, is a special order from a mining company that orders some rockys at 1998 for its operational vehicles. so. you won't find easily some kind of this elsewhere. at 2001, the mining company occasionally every 3 years, get all its vehicles to auction. that is where i got it.

The original 2.8 L Daihatsu DL engine, without turbo, but gives all I need 2 have fun with...Still in excellent condition after 7 years, look...
