Well I haven't updated in a long time but a lot of things have happened. There is a new ignition. Went from the Mallory HEI setup seen here

Now there is a MSD digital 6 Plus box, blaster coil and a pro-billet dizzy. You can see how the dizzy looks and how the bulkhead fitting looks that passes the ignition wire though the firewall.

Finally I am also getting around to the brakes. I went with C5 Z06 brakes. Here they are sitting in my room, I should have them on in a week when I go back to the dyno.

Installing went down all in one day, not bad at all.
Starting with a stock spindle
Ears cut and brackets installed. Took me a little work to get the bracket on the first side because I didn't want to take off too much material. But I used a dremel to take off a little at a time till I got it just right.
Hubs installed and bought from Ed Miller on TGO.
Here are the C5 ZO6 brakes finally on the car. Believe me or not, but it only took me one afternoon to mod the spindles and install these brakes. Man oh man do they stop harder now. Very nice upgrade.

And a shot of them sitting in their new home.

I have changed so many little things on the motor I can't even imagine metioning them all, but to say a few:
- I moved the solenoids to the firewall and hid one behind the dizzy. That helped clean up the motor a lot.
- Got a set of very cheap fabricated valve covers off ebay. I think they look great.
- Got a new N20 plate that elimniates the spray bar
- got a new main body for the carb too.

And here are the new Nitto 55Rs.

And a more up to date shot of the undercaridge

Finally here are the new spacers I got. 2" was too much room and made the tires stick out. Like this:

So I got these off ebay for less than $60.

and now the car sites like this:

modded pic so that it is a little brighter.

Here is the inside clearance. Still have plenty. I could have tucked them even further, but I am going to leave them alone for now.

Next update will be the custom heater so I can drive this thing in the fall!
