This is a tribute to my first car that i bought that wasn't $500 and had 300K miles on it. :-)
This is a 95 SOHC Highline. I've had it since 98...bought it used. With a wife and 3 kids it's not often you can validate hooking up your car. But wifey's been good to me...and the job is going well...so I've been able to start hooking it up a little at a time.
First I started off with getting indiglo guages and foglights. Then I got a front anti-sway bar. Then I didn't really do much to the car other than fixing it. :-)
So this is my car...
here it is under some work... The water pump went bad...so I spent a day up at my wife's grandpa's house...who has a nice garage and all the tools...and I went to work on replacing it...as well as the timing belt while I was in there....
this is one of two of my wife's gramps' 63 split window vettes....this one has about 500 HP.
this one has about 650 HP. They're even better in person. I even have a scar on the back of my leg from getting out of the copper one and not watching for the side pipes. Lost about a silver dollars' size worth of skin. :-P
