Here are the pictures during the paint project.
The body was not in real bad shape, only the passenger side quarter was rusted and wrecked and the door was dented.
I used a silver base for the stripes. It took almost 16 hours just to do the blocks. The overall painting took 3 days to complete. It was fun.
I intended on the car keeping most of the original color but after all of the custom paint and air brushing, it looked like a freakin Christmas card! So I re painted the body a few different colors until I was satisfied on the blue. It took about 6 different colors to decide the blue.
