Engine Overhaul:
Ok so in short, I had an "oil consumption" problem and the only real idea we had to its cause was the valve cover gaskets since there was oil in one of the spark plug cylinders.
So, here we go!


^^^First job of the day was to remove the intake manifold from the car. I must say, this was a big job, lots of things to unhook.


^^^Next thing was to remove the valve covers from the car so that they could be cleaned, painted and have the new gaskets installed. Paper was placed into the intake runners of the head so that dirt and metal shavings would not enter the valves.

^^^What bolt goes where??? Hahaha, lots of hardware to go around!


^^^Finally all back together again. All in all, the job took 8 hours to do, but that includes the time it took to take the valve covers to my shop and clean them, then paint them, along with porting and polishing the intake manifold. Even the throttle body was removed and re-gasketed during this procedure.
