This is my EVO VIII page. Please enjoy the pics. I will post progress of my car on page 1 and 2. Any comments and FEEDBACk are encouraged

Here is a pic of my EVO VIII only a few days after I got off the lot. It is bone stock here, but not for long muhhahahah

The First MODS that I did were a RMR Intake and FORGE BOV. For never having a TURBO car before, hearing the BOV and INTAKE roar they way they did, made me just cream my pants and want to race the first guy that came my way :D. Pics are below

The Next mode was not to far behind. This time it was a cosmetic MOD, as I am more show than go ;D. It was the OEM Wind Deflectors as I had always wanted them on my s14 240sx, but was to hard to get, so I got it for my EVO instead.

Close up pic of the Wind Deflectors. Great Minor addation to the car!

Next was a critical componant to any turbo car, a Turbo timer. I got the HKS Type 0, as it was simple and proven to work. Not only that but a name brand here in th US and Japan.

NEXt was biggest purchase to date for the car and that was the RIMS and tires. I got the VOLK GTU 18x8 Silver. Although I wanted a deeper rim (18x9), the price was too good to let go, and these still were the rims I wanted, so I got them anyway and you be the judge. I got HANKOOK Tires too. They are ok, but I dont race so it dont matter!

Here are the rims on the Car. As you can see the car was not lowered yet, so it looked funny for about 3 weeks. ;p

Next was more Cosmetics, as I removed the Badging from the rear. I removed the part that said Lancer and below it had Evolution VIII on the lower left hand corner. I hated it since it was chrome, and I wanted to get the UK badging instead. Until then I took it all off.

It only took about a month before I received my UK badging from the UK. I loved it and gives it a very UNIQE and AUTHENTIC look.

Here it is after installation

Next it was time to get some more engine componants. I got guages to read my boost and my EGT. I have yet to hook up the EGT, I have it up just for looks. I got the Blitz AC White Face Guages. They Work great and use BAR as there readings (JDM/EURO style). They Light up blue with RED Needle (Night pics will be up later). I also used the Carbon Trix Carbon Fiber Dual Gauage POD with passanger side A Pillar.

Here are the pics of Guages During the Day.

The next mod was the one I was waiting for so badly since I got my rims. I hated my car not lowered having nice rims on it. So I got my TEIN H Springs. They were a cheap alternative to COILOVERS. I dont race anyways so it is not a big concern right now. it was a week ordeal to get these things on right, it came down to operator error, so TEIN H is a good product, just get a Good Tech ;D After that I was very please with the look as you can tell it looks much better.

Here is Quick Photo shop of all the pics I took the night I got it done.

Here is a bigger pic of the side shot.

The next mod was one that I had to have once I saw it, but realized that the real thing was to expensive. That was the Black headlights that are sold on EVO's in Europ and Japan. There was guys out here in the US moding the headlights and that was the rout I chose. Since it was a fraction of the price for the real ones. I LOVE this mode and made the car completly differnt. Below are the Before and after shots, much better in my opinion.

Next mode was was the Carbon Fiber trim for the Intererior. This was something that I was not expecting to do, but again for the price I could not say no. Although there is another kit that I want that covers more of the Dash on the passeger side, I will have to wait for that. Pics are of center Dash Console and of Driver side window/lock controls.
