This is a '99 model type Lotus Elise. It's a British sports car with only 120 hp but a weight of just over 700kg (1520lbs). Given that, and its wonderfully balanced steering/braking make it a very fast car despite the low horsepower.
Apart from that, it's a real looker, it was love at first sight. Of course being a convertible the real fun starts when when the sun comes out...
In 2001, this model was replaced with the Elise type 2 with more powerful engines but unfortunately none of the charm of the original.
