I purchased this GLI in July of 2004 after I totalled my Acura TL. Before this car I was more into Hondas and Acuras, but I love my GLI! As of Feb 2, 2005 it has 11,350 miles on it.
I replaced the stock headlight bulbs with Nokya Hyper Blue bulbs.
These look a lot better than stock bulbs but I am still thinking of getting a real H.I.D. light system. I also put this eyebrow/eyelids in. They accent the headlights nicely.
I got rid of the lower side grilles and got these neat looking scoops.
Nice and open!
Engine is basically stock except for a Monza blow off valve and Tenzo R Air Filter. In the near future I am thinking of getting the neuspeed P- flow Air intake and chip put in.
I shaved the jetta badge off of the the back. I think it gives it a cleaner european look.
I had the windows tinted with 28% tint.
It came stock with 18 inch BBS rims sitting on 225/18/40 Goodyear F1 tires. Sweet deal.
