Hello and this is my 1989 mercury grand marquis gs MY first car
I love this car I'm the fourth owner and take car of her all the time she's pretty much stock. stock 302 efi motor stock 4 speed auto overdrive tranny . 8.8 inch rear end with 3.55 gears torsin lock axels. turbine spoke alluminum rims .Outside color is oxford white Also it has dual exhaust I may add flowmasters later.no clearcoat which is good because ford are famous for peeling clearcoat titanium interior origanaly a florida car rust free frame. in this pic the Found a ltd while i was in gettsburg I parked next to it and took a picture side by side
the next picture is when a stupid 16 year old girl (her fourth accident) backed into me with her huge chevy tahoe she clamed she did not see How so you not see a car that f ing huge
anyway her parents did not want to go throught insurance so I got a n estamate done 1,300 was the chapiest I could get so her dad paid me 1,300 but of course I smarter than that so I went to the junk yard and got the parts for under $100 and $75 for the paind and headlights and made 1,100. Mainly the damage was to the header panel the stone deflector the grill the lights thank god it messed the oil cooler and the radaitor. The parts were off of a 1991 ls the parts are interchagable from 1988-1991 I took me a weekend to get everything done including the painting in the end people have told me that it doesen't even look like it got hit what do you think? The only thing I've done with my car is add a draw-tite towing hitch the cars tows really well plus me car has the towing packege but for some reason the hitch was taken off.I tow a 4x6 utility trailer
also the radio is fron a 1994 sable also I love the big fords my dad had a 1996 ford crown victoria that had 265,032 before the crack in the engine block that the tranny went, my dad now has a 2006 grand marquis my brother has a 2002 crown victoria
