Before (when I first got it)

Just added page 7 Jan. 23 2007.

This is my newest project. A 1985 Chevy monte carlo. I bought it for $500 and the guy who owned it brought it to me all the way from New Philadelphia OH
It was his former drag car. I bought the car with no motor, trans., radiator, or wheels and tires. It has bad floor in the front driver's side and some surface rust outside. The t-tops leak as well.

The good is I received all original paper work w/ the car from 1985. Pre delivery inspection papers, owner's manual, warranty, some other booklets and stuff and the original window sticker that was the dealer copy.

This will be my newest summer project and I will update pics of the progress as it goes along so check back soon.

Theese first pics are the ones sent to me by the previous owner before I got the car.

Here's some to show some of the bad spots up close. Most where sent to me before hand except for most of the floor pan shots I took myself.

very nice! cant wait till mine ends up like that i also wish mine had t-tops but i think thats a lil to much work for me rite now. but good work.. keep it lookin good. oh and one question when removing the dash were there like these pins holding the bottom of it it? no screws? cuz thats how mine is and the only thing i see doing is ripping it out ( which will break it)

Love the progress on the Monte. Really love that window tint. The only place I think you went wrong was by mixing foreign seats in American muscle, lol. I think you should also paint the taillight housings black, leaving them chrome is a dead giveaway of a cloned SS. keep up the great work and check out my almost completed restoration.
