I have just began the installation of the air bags on my truck. I have suicidedoors.com bolt on bag mounts for the front. I am putting a F.B.I tri-angulated four link in the rear with a suicidedoors.com bridge notch that will hold my bags above the axle and the shock mounts.

This is the bridge kit that i willl be using, it worked really well for me. It comes fully universal for anything with two frame rails.

This is what it looked like once I cut everything to fit and had my buddy weld it all up.

This is my friend Barney welding up the notch. He is a proffesional welder so the welds will hold.

The bridge is all finished up now and ready for some paint.

Once the paint dried and the box was put on it was time for the truck to go back outside until I get enough time to install the four link and finish up the air system. With the four link I am going to have to get rid of the wheel wells and cut some more of the floor to clear the four link. I'll have some more photos as soon as I am done with the triangulated 4-lnik.

Well I got my truck into the garage and it is time to get the air bags done.

These are the bag mounts I am going to use up front. The cup sits in the a-Arm and you bolt the plate to the top. Drilling the holes in the 1/2" plate was a pain, lots of cutting oil and it was bareable.

I started with the front, this is a picture after I got the spring out and the A-arm disconected from he spindle, ready for the air bag.

I am running a 5gallon tank with eight Blitzluft 1/2" valves. My friend Kenny and I hard lined the valves to the tank so I would not have to make any mounting brackets and it would be a snap to install. the tank will be filled by one Viar 450 and I will be able to control the valves with a pre wired 10 switch box from suicidedoors.com

The single 450 Viar compressor that will fill my 5 gal tank.
Its the weekend so I thought I'd better get the air bags in. This picture below will give you an idea of what I had to cut out for clearences. I get some better pictures when I can get the truck out of the garage.

This is the begining. The taller bags are for the front. They are from universal air. They compress down to 3.5" and are suppose to go up to 9". After I installed them it took 120psi to lift the front of my truck so i switch them with the bags that I had orignally had for the back and bought another pair for the back. The shorted and wider ones are for the back. They are universal air too and they compress to 3.5" and max out at 13.5". Lots of travel. Thats my Tank mounted at the front of the bed. The grey thing to the right is my pressure switch with a built in relay. Its suppose to work well. I am going to have the air from the compressor to the left side of the tank.

Thats my compressor mounted on a peice of angle. Its mounted right beneath the drivers seat. I have lots of room because I got rid of one of the gas tanks because they were both leaking and i only wanted to replace one.

here is a bad picture of my four link but I have not been able to get a good one. You can see that I have not yet finished my exhaust. I am not sure what I am going to do with it.

The air bags that I got did not fit the way I wanted them too. I am going to try out the triple convoluted bags but I won't see them for a couple of weeks. It takes a while to get anything here in Canada, no one stocks anything. In the mean time I put in some small single convoluted bags that were suppose to fit in the front. That way I could play with my switches. I put the double convoluted bags in the front and the ride is much softer then the singles and it takes much less pressure to lift the truck. As soon as I get some nice weather I will get some pics of the truck layed out.

Here is where I keep my truck. It sits here through all the wind, rain and snow. I wish I could keep it indoors but I do not have that luxury. The paint is till nice though. I got stuck one day in the gravel when I first layed it down. The rocks did a real number on my back wheels. But thats the trouble with having not enough room to store everything inside. I wish I could do something about my leather. Anyone know of any tricks or lotions I could apply to lengthen the life of it. Keep it from cracking?

Here is some pics of my truck layed out. It is still undercover because the weather has not been good here yet. I plan to be driving it in a couple of weeks or when my new bags for the rear come in. Summer has not quit arrived yet here in Langley, B.C. Canada. I have some better photos when the weather is better.
