Update: Well, it was a sad day. Had to get rid of my old girl, I'll keep the pics and site up for nostalgia, but I was forced to strip my caprice and sell what was sellable. I ran out of money for the ol storage unit, and had to evacuate, lost most of my stuff anyway. I really hate how expensive these units are in Fargo.

this is my 1977 chevy caprice, it is the car that i test a lot of my ideas on, experiment with. i'm mostly an engine guy, but i'll be trying some creative body work with this. used to be my grandpa's car, i remember cruising around in this car when i was a little kid, and i love it.

my friend and i pulled the engine, a 350ci chevy small block (go chevy),classicarmechani's 1977 Chevrolet Caprice i cleaned it up, put new GM blue paint on it, i replaced the cam, a Crane Energizer cam with 204 degrees duration and .427" of lift, slapped on an edelbrock performer rpm intake, a 600cfm edelbrock carburetor, a clear mr gasket distributor cap, having some fun with this car. it's still in progress, but i plan on updating, in case anyone cares. the other pages have pics of my friend's cars that i've helped them on.

Your buddy's name wouldn't happen to be Mike would it? I knew the rear end and the brown paint of that truck as soon as I seen it.

Any progress yet? I love to see the boxies done up as a muscle car. I just don't think they look right on gold spoke 13s or spinner 22s.

Good luck with your buildup. I am in the process of working on my chevy as well. Check out my page, I have a 77 too.
