Time to look upon the outside, it was Super White stock toyota paint, But now it has been repainted Ford Red, it nice and glossy. I havnt finished the entire car yet with every coat needed, but it will be done soon. Yeah its 14 years old its had a few blemishes. Also in the older pictures i have 2003 Celica GTS 16" rims, and before that i have 15" Eagle rims, But i sold those and have got some EAGLE 193 17x7 alloy Rims in the newer pics. Check my first and second pages to see what mods there is.
I have many plans for my car. Right now im in the process of fitting on a one-of-a-kind body kit. I have put in tons of hours of work, in between work and school i have gotten very far. Right now, it has a 2000-2005 Toyota Celica rx7 Style front bumper, that took a bit of work to cut and mould. I layed down many layers of resin and mat to hold it in place. And surprisingly it was the same basic shape as the 90-93 celica.
Then in the rear... i originally bought a Invader rear bumper and thought it would fit good and look good too. Once i received it i realized that i would need the eroupean license plate surround, i also realized that i didnt like the big vents that would show the metal bumper support below, sure i could remove it. That illegal and would cause more damage if ever run into... Im not taking those chances.
Then for the side skirts, i used the Invader side skirts, but im not really feeling their looks. I think i may modify them somehow to make them fit the car a bit better... what do you think?

1st stage... Mounted and moulded sorta... Also primed car...also hood scoop removed, but replaced in part 2
I cut and moulded it, ill post pics with it completely moulded and sanded.

I hadnt done that much more work lately, i had been busy. Also to mention my brakes went to shit and i had to buy alot of stuff and that brought down my money in exchange. But i finally got my spoiler, and on the 8th i ordered a new front bumper....then i will be fully kitted.

Heres a pic of the rear what i thought it would look like when it would be done, you can see some of my photochopping skills, did i mention that its one of a kind and no other celica has this rear...WOOT! custom...
And here is a pic of what the front will look like when its finished.... I think it looks real good.
Also here is a pic of what the Side skirts will look like when they are moulded on and the trim is gone.
I also made a "JDM" license plate mount for the car, and here is 2 pics of it below....
here is some pics after a long day of sanding and such. All i needed then was some spot putty to fill in all the dips and grooves. As you can see im also going wingless, But soon after i ordered a new wing!
Well here was a little bit more of an update, no more work has been done, just a little photography....

in these pics i had just molded on the rear but i still need to sand it down a bit. I removed the spoiler, in ext week i ordered a new one that i replaced it with. I molded the front black peices to the hood and the front side lights... let the pictures explain it all.... I have alot of sanding to do ahead of me.

August 1st pics:
on this day i had been doing lots of work to the outside. That includes Invader/shogun sideskirts and removal of side door moldings, i took the rear for the same kit and i am soon to custom cut and mold it how i want to, and im creating my own front lip for just a mild look.
Overall i have as of today (August 1st) the side skirts on and part of the trim off, i need to sand out some bondo marks but i have already got lots of nice comments about it and it makes me happy.

I just painted the front trim black in these pics...As you can see these are really old, because as of right now i have no fron trims at all. what do you think did i make a smart move?

i installed new Carbon fiber mirrors, i had to make fiberglass bases to mount to. and i quickly and cheaply wrapped them in plastic CF wrap, but the main mirror is real Carbon Fiber. I will peel off the plastic later and i will paint it white to match the body, but i guess it turns out that someone didnt like them much, so while i was parked in the school parking lot. Yeap guess it, someone cracked the mounts off. Guess ill go back to the stockers. oh well, picks below....
In these pics below i had just redded out the tail lights with Testors transpartent candy apple red paint... It worked well, but i suggest not to paint while on the car. It drips easy, and you can get overspray everywhere. I experienced this first hand. If you do so, you can take some mineral spirits or paint thinner, it will rub right off.

This was my exhaust when it was brand new, i had just put it on, This exhaust sounds very good on the celica, its got a nice smooth tone (it doesnt sound very ricey) Its just the right sound that i was looking for.*
I will update this area often, because i love to take pictures of my car. Usually have a photo shoot after i clean my car. I love detailed close up pictures at certain angles too.
