This is a picture of my 1973 Dodge Challenger that I purchased in October 2004. I picked it up inexpensively, and understood that there would be a lot of work involved if I wanted to make this car as nice as I hoped for. The restoration process began in December and the bodywork is going well. I am adding performance stiffening bars and torque boxes, because when the body work is done I hope to install a new 408 Stroker Mopar crate engine with 460HP. As you can tell I am not interested in keeping this car original. I'm hoping to increase its original performance by 310 horsepower. The exterior of the car was originally Autumn bronze, but I am opting for Fire Red. The interior was originally black, but I am going to install white. Check back from time to time as it is my goal to update the progress of the vehicle each month.
