02/05/2009- Well, now we are in 2009, do you know what that means for me? Oh my god, has it really been almost 5 years since I bought this car? Man, does time fly by. Oh well, I'll have something really cool set out for the 5th anniversary, which will be on May 24,2009.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a good New Year, and anyway it has been a while since I updated both of my car's sites, and I have a set of really nice General Tire Altimax Arctic, with the good old standard size, P195 60R15. They grip very well in the snow, and they leave a very aggresive footprint behind. Every time I park this car in the garage when I walk around the car to get to the door, when I am behind the car I stare at the print of the tire on the garage floor, it is so cool to look at.All the sipes, man that is cool.

Pictures on the Autocross (sadly, none of the action pictures came out at all) are on page 4, and when the tires will be photographed, they will go on page 8. Underbody pictures hae been added, and are on page 8. I figured since everyone sees the outside, inside, and the engine bay of the car, why not the underside? Think about it, what if there was a nice clean car which had terrible rust problems underneath? Well, if you don't care, then it doesn't matter, but for those who it does matter to, you can take a look at Brianna's pretty clean underside.

11/09/2008- Over 25 new photographs have been added. I cleaned up any non-SC2 or irrelevant photos from this site and replaced them with more SC2 cruising photos! It was loads of fun, but there is one problem, how can I easily get external photos of the car while it is moving... Yeah, that's a cool idea... Page 4 is completely revised, page 8 has a few new photographs, and page 11 has been added. Page 11 is cruise photographs. Pretty much page 4 will be an autocross/actual performance page, since I probably won't show it off at any more car shows, despite what this car and I have been through... Don't worry, page 5 is still dedicated to the engine performance. I will try my best to keep things updated, and to finish this long revising process. It will take some time because I have to decide what old junk to erase and what to keep. Well, page by page, I am getting there. Anyway, check out the revised page 4, page 8, and the all-new page 11! Leave a comment if you like. Have fun!

(Wow, it sounds like I am on Prozac, ha ha!)...

IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE!! (below, I mean,)

10/24/2008- I have just started, not finished, a major redesign on this webpage, and sadly, looking back into the younger years of this project, there were a lot of failed projects that I started back then. Now I replaced page 9 with a new area that should freshen up this otherwise poor quality car-website--PCM data testing/recording. Right now this site is in development, so the videos that sadly don't work anymore will be removed, and the older pictures will be replaced by newer ones. Yeah, I have learned that most things that change are for the worst (that's what I have experienced so far in my life),  however, these changes are for the better. This is like a revitalizing of this car as a whole, including improving the image of this car by literally wiping away the past things I have done. I will most likely remove the decals off the car, and I will replace page 3 with all of the older news on this page, who cares about stock improvements anyway? I should have never created that page, because every SC2 owner here wants to improve his/her car with new parts, not just making poor 'adjustments'. Anyway, enough with this crud, forgive my negative attitude, it's not every day a person realizes like $500.00 of failed projects happened a few years in the past. While most of the comments are negative, this will probably be one of your last chances to see this car site in it's original condition. When I am done, every page, every picture will probably be replaced, probably. Anyway, I hope some people can enjoy this 'transition' web site.  I won't be done with this transition until like a week, because I will be taking my sweet time. Changes have happened to pages 4,5,6,7,8, and 9, but these are not finalized ones.

Anyway, for the good news: Yesterday I came home after driving around for like 2 days and 279.00 miles passed. Not a drop of oil was burned and the engine got 35.98 miles per gallon. If that is not a good fuel economy for an engine for this age and performance, then I don't know what is. Anyway, I am glad this car is in good health. I promise to keep her in the best shape I can, especially in the engine.

10/22/2008- I am leaving tonight to go on my 72 hour cruise, and I am looking forward to it. I hope the weather will be nice for the next few days. I put on the Saturn Motorsports performance overbored throttle body on the car and noticed that the throttle response is faster, and I have enough power to do small burnouts (burnouts with an FWD automatic are a lot harder than most people think). I will post the PCM data graph sometime soon. From what it looks like, I didn't really notice a huge power gain, but I have only driven it once since then, and it was brief... Actually other than the 'small burnout' thing, I didn't really notice any real difference in power. Then again, the throttle response is crisp, and the PCM is still happy with the throttle body, and the O2 sensor readings haven't changed at all, really, so the throttle body isn't changing the whole engine's characteristics. Anyway, I will get some pictures when I come back on Saturday night, but I won't be able to put them on until Sunday afternoon, because when I come back, I will have to clean out the Firebird and get it ready for the autocross event on Sunday morning. Well, wish me luck! I hope this small vacation will be much more fun than I think it will be.

Super1994SC's 1994 Saturn SC-Series

Hi my name is Philip, and I own a 1994 Saturn SC2. This car's perfect for me. I decided to name her Brianna, and I've owned her since late May of 2004, and since then lots of good times and changes took place. I got my first shipment of performance parts, so now my car's not stock. Before that shipment all I bought was Saturn stock parts to make my car stylish, nice, and not looking like it's 11 years old. Feel free to look around, and feel welcome here, because all car enthusiasts are.

The SC and I just chillin`. ( Literally. )

10/09/2008- In terms of the car, nothing has happened, other than a few tests that I ran on the computer (PCM). I have planned on going on a much-needed vacation. I will call this vacation the 'Super SC2 vacation" because this vacation will be in the car, pretty much the whole time. I will be gone for at least 72 hours, and I will drive around all over New Hampshire in this car, starting with the Kancamagus Highway (noted for its beauty in the Fall), and then the White Mountains for some mountain biking, and then the beach, I will end this run in my hometown, and I hope to get my head straight from it. I will definately take some photographs to post on this website. I may just record a video of this vacation, a short one, like a 'montage' or something like that if I have the time. After that, I will add on the 3 anniversary packages that I failed to do in the past, and then put on a special "Mark II" package, which consists of a few odds and ends, and a Saturn Motorsports overbored throttle body. I should get a good power gain, because I recorded this fragment of data today on my GM scanner:

Super1994SC's 1994 Saturn SC-Series According to this graph, the o2 sensor (Located in the exhaust header) read a very rich mixture. Rich meaning, a high level of fuel in the air/fuel mixture. The o2 sensor reads how much fuel is in the exhaust, so a high millivolt reading is actually a low oxygen content, meaning that there is a lot of excess fuel in the engine. This is with my exhaust, ignition, and K&N air filter. With the Saturn Motorsports overbored throttle body, it should let in a good bit more air, which should lower the purple line in that graph. Also, I included the fuel injector pulse width in there for anyone who wants to know how well a well-maintained pretty much stock 1994 Saturn SC2 DOHC engine should run. No, there was no error codes that set of the 'Service Engine Soon' light, so everything was working perfectly. If the engine runs that rich with the stock throttle body, with the extra level of air I will get with the overbored throttle body, it should make this twin cammer run that much more powerful. Do not worry. I will have results from the computer with the overbored throttle body in about 72 hours. I have the overbored throttle body in my room since late 2006. (I actually ordered it 48 hours before I crashed this car, it's kind of sad. I had a lot of things I started back then, only to have things delayed for almost 2 years). Since I've had this nice performance part in my possession for that long, I will put it in the car sometime tommorow night, and see the gain.

...Man, that would qualify as a tech article to me, somewhat, on the gains of an overbored throttle body on a 1994 Saturn DOHC engine. Anyway, stay tuned! I'll have the results soon. Thank you for visiting this site, and I will (from now on) try my best to keep things up-to-date, and to keep working.

10/07/2008- I got a set of 1991 Saturn SC alloy wheels I have been looking for, and they are in probably the best shape of wheel I have seen, especially the fact they were made in 1991. They are actually in better shape than my 1994 teardrop alloy wheels. See the nice pictures in the exterior section.

10/03/2008- It has been a while since I last updated, because this site would have errors whenever I tried to update, and my digital camera's memory thingy crapped out, losing like 50 assembly pictures, which is a shame, but the car is all back together! The SC2 has passed NH state inspection for 2008, Super1994SC's 1994 Saturn SC-Seriesand it has had its first run. The car is really fun to drive, and now that I know that it is painful losing a car I once cared for to death, I have a different feeling when I drive this car, I don't know, maybe I'm not used to seeing this car road ready. I never expected to see it back on the road again, ever, and it'll take time to get used to my new surroundings, and I am sure my SC2 will need to adjust as well, because a lot has happened in my life within the past 2 years. I am glad to say this car, like very few on the road, has cheated death. I will get a 2nd set of 1991 Saturn SC alloy wheels for some race (for summer) and winter (for snow) tires on them, which will make the car that much more fun to drive. I will go on a long trip within the next week, and when I drive this car, I won't come back in a while. I expect to drive all around NH, like the White Mountains, the Kancamagus Highway (noted for its beauty in the fall), the beach, and ending at my old hometown. After that, this car will be complete, and I will for the first time in a long time, be happy. I will make sure to take plenty of nice pictures for all to see.

Super1994SC's 1994 Saturn SC-SeriesBrianna Mark II's first run, 09/23/2008, right before its christening. Finally, after almost 2 long years, Brianna and I are together again, as a team.

05/16/2008- The SC2 is currently at the bodyshop being repaired. When the bodyshop is finished repairing the frame, I can have it towed back to my house where I can finish putting the front end together, so I can drive it for a long time.
