Page 4 will cover the signal and power distribution for the system. All wires are Stinger Pro series wires and interconnects. The primary power wire is 1/0 gauge and fused at 200 amps. The secondary power wires are 4 gauge and fused at the distribution block with 3 70 amp fuses, 1 for each amplifier and a 3rd for the dual Stinger capacitors and other system components. The Zapco amplifiers each have an 80 amp fuse so I dropped 10 amps at the distribution block to protect the amplifier. The alternator is a Delco 160 amp H/O alternator and the battery has been replaced with a Stinger Pro SP1000 that delivers 1200 CCA and 2600 amps of short circuit current. Voltage is monitered at the battery and at the capacitors to assure minimum voltage drop and maximum voltage availalbe to the amplifiers.

Any viewers who are considering building a competition vehicle need to pay particular attention to the wiring. All wires are loomed and connections heat shrunk. The terminal connections are coated with teflon to prevent corrosion. The wires are secured to the chassis at 4" intervals and every wire pass through is lined with a rubber grommett. All wires are properly labeled in the event of future needed service. The signal wires are in gray looming, speaker wires in orange, ground wires in black, and power wires in red. This is done to maintain cosmetic integrity throughout the entire install.
