1985 Vw Golf

This car started off as just a daily driver then I noticed it has a little pep and some potential. so I did the typical mods for the cis injection. Such as swiss cheese air box,big bore, exhaust system. Then added some BBS rims and Toyo FZ4's.
But one day me and the crew we were all hangin out around 5th street in Reading PA, and i noticed a weird knocking sound so I thought I was low on oil so i checked and I was low. So I went and bought oil, and added it, I needed a quart. So I started it up and drove away but all of a sudden my car statred to run off 2 cylinders and shooting white smoke out the exhaust.
So I pulled over and the first thing I checked was my intake, yep I was right oil over the filter and the inside fender. SHOT PISTON RINGS. So I said good lol motor swap. Typically you don't swap 8v for 8v but I did couldnt beat the price. I got a 1991 GTi engine with 73,000 on it and it had a neuspeed 273 duration camshaft and a 16v oil pump. Hell you can't beat that for $150.00. So I figured got the GTi engine, so I went out and bought a 1987 GTi trans for $75.00. So I went ahead with the swap. When I ripped the old motor out before I put the new one in I sent the block out to be bored and stroked to 1.9 liter.Lots and lots of more mods but to many to list. About 2 weeks later I recieved it and started the swap.I decided to stick with the CIS injection for tuning reasons so I had to use my throttle body and intake manifold off the old motor but no differnce really. Plan to upgrade to CIS-E in time. About 1 week later the swap was complete. WOW you should feel the difference in power tremendous amount of torque. But after a while I didn't like the way the exhaust sounded so I removed the mid muffler(resonator)sounds 100% better. (mods page 2)
