Jan. 15th/05- Started to drain all the fluids and take things apart to get ready to pull the motor and start stripping it all down. I got set of buckets that Im going to put in also once I have all the body work done. Ill put pictures up later.

April 25th - Got bored on the weekend so I hacked off the muffler so the old girl has some bark to 'er

This is "The Courier". I bought it last summer and we Primed it the day I got it because I couldn't stand the color. My model was the second last year before it turned into the Mazda B-2000. I also hit a pole over the winter. This summer I plan to put a bunch of work into it and fix it up. I'll Have some new pictures up soon

Heres some newer pics.

that looks more like the pumpkin color of the 70'-73' maverics than a true yellow, I would have primed it too. I intend to shoot my 79' with a true yellow, so it can be seen, I only want to do the bodywork once!

Looks like it's got plenty of potential. I would be more worried with getting the body work done before I started messing with the engine. But, I voted to put a V8 in. They go in fairly easily as I have seen it done with B2000s quite often. I would recommend an LS1 or variation there-of as they are going to be lighter than anyother V8 (302, 351w, 350, 454, 460, etc) and have gobs more power out of the box.
