Pictures from The Badlands(Attica, IN) 01-15-06
We hit up the Orange Trail first. It is not the hardest(Pink Trail) and its not the easiest(Green Trail) by any means. I have not wheeled my truck since some time in August of 05, so i was a little rusty and cut one of the first off-camber downhills a little short and lifted a tire and put my truck into a tree, but the damage was very minor and the guys with me spotted me out with a little assistance from a winch(to keep damage minimal).

The badlands has alot of hill climbs that will scrape your rockers across the ground as you crest the top. There are also quiet a few spots that have some serious ledges.

The best advantage The Badlands has over alot of other parks is the variety it offers. It has your run-of-the-mill trails, a pretty large sand-dune area, and an old quarry for some rock crawling. The quary was alot of fun. The following images are sort of a series. My lockers helped me imensely in this spot. I just crawled right up and over this spot thanks to the helpful spotting of Joe.

This is just another little part of the quarry that was fun to just crawl up and over, and the next picture is me after coming through the drainage tunnel.
