After I get my 88TA home, I'll take some "before" pictures. I plan to do some restification to the car, a swap or two, plus plenty of paint.
It's been two years since I owned a firebird (a 97), making those two years the only ones I wasn't driving an F-body. Started with an 85 Camaro RS, then on to a 90 Firebird, and finally a 97 Firebird before child # 2 was born. After that, had to go the family vehicle route. Now... I finally fulfill my dream of not only going back to an F-body, but finally owning a Trans Am.

Well I've finally gotten it to my home town, and had the engine, fuel and electrical systems dignosed. Both good and bad news - the engine seized! Bad news because I can't drive it right away. Good news because it forces me to do what I wanted to do - swap out the 305 TBI for a 350 TPI. It'll take some money, and plenty of time, but I'm looking forward to it.
