79blazer_WI's 1979 Chevrolet Blazer

Blazer under construction, she's been knocked up one too many times, but it gives me a break to save some money to pay for all the plans I have for her.

6" Suspension, maybe 3" Body lift
38" Tires (To be decided what brand)
Get my subwoofer to work
383 stroker/350 Chevelle motor swap
NP 205 transfer case (or better)
Soft top with roll bar shell (to keep it in place and try to reduce noise when the soft top is on)
Weld up a new exhaust (minus the cat) once I get collectors plates on her
New paint (Original brown)
Underbody spray (at least under the fenders and body where I can)

Right now she's got the stock 350 with a Edlbk 600 cfm 4 bbl and intake, "4-speed Rock Crusher" tranny (L,1,2,3 really, and L is a granny gear and I don't use it unless I'm off the beaten path) 6 speakers and a nice Sony deck with a 8" Bazooka tube that isn't hooked up yet, but it's still freakin' loud! She's up 3 1/2" on blocks in the rear and has 35" Mud Terrains that are on their last legs (Very little tread)

More pics coming as soon as she's fixed!

There is a new forum dedicated to 4wheelers and offroaders in Wisconsin www.wi4x4.com/forum This is a new forum; just a few people so far. I am hoping that this will be a place where Wisconsin wheelers can congregate, organize rides and talk about local issues (like the lack of trails in WI). A list of trails in the US has just been post (w/ the help of Peterson 4Wheel). The trail website and the directions are also on there. -Dollarbill
