ineveryfall's 1986 Buick Somerset

1986 Buick Somerset T-Type. 210,000 miles on the original drive train. T-Type trim, digital dash, 3.0 V-6 (181 c.i.d.), automatic. The car's lasted forever and is easy to repair, I can pull parts from a Pontiac Grand Am, Oldmobile Calais or Buick Somersets and Skylarks if needed (all N-body cars.) For example- Ignition box is out of an Oldsmobile. Check out your parts yard if you ever need parts for your older N-body car, they have tons of these.

ineveryfall's 1986 Buick Somerset Chrome grille and light trim versus factory black, trimmed air dam 3-4 inches for clearance.

ineveryfall's 1986 Buick Somerset Chrome tip welded to Glasspack Muffler. Raised rear end 1 inch.

ineveryfall's 1986 Buick Somerset

Fiero Wheels, similar to Grand Am but with a deeper rim lip. 195/60 14 Goodyear tires versus stock 215/60 14 tires.

ineveryfall's 1986 Buick Somerset No mount kit for the car so trimmed slot in dash for CD player.

ineveryfall's 1986 Buick Somerset Woodgrain trim from a Skylark and seats from an '89 Grand Am. New seat covers.

Dude, sell me that car! LOL One of my first cars was a red 1986 Somerset T-Type identical to yours. Mine had a factory electric moonroof though, it was the only one like it built. If you need to know anything about these cars, let me know!

Hell yeah! The brick is back and ready to stun and amaze! Those wheels look good on that car. Soon I'm gonna take my car in for tuneup. I'm scared of what the price is gonna be though :-/ I wanna put up a tribute page on my site about the Grand Am and Ghetto Sled lol! I don't think I have any pics of the van, which sucks cause that was P.I.M.P. lol. Nice CD player in your car. Was it easy to put in? I put in a Pioneer deck in mine just to tide me over until bigger things. When I got it the original radio wasn't there lol. Anyways, keep pimpin' Later man!
