I got this car in 2001, in summer I use it as a daily driver. It's the best car I ever had.
It has a posi rear end, firm suspension option, and almost every option available back in 1975. It's mostly original but I repainted it recently.
I don't drive it anymore in winter but I had to remove it from storage for a few weeks a few years ago when I had to replace the engine in my '91 Park Avenue Ultra.
Hey, that's my car!

I still have the chrome Buick rims shown on the previous picture but I didn't put them back when I repainted my Electra. When I was very young, I really liked the look of the 1974-76 Electra hubcaps. But I will probably swich to the Buick chrome rims later...

I rarely go to shows with this car but I went with a show in Granby QC with it and a friend who owns a 67 Riviera similar to mine. He catched me doing some "detailing" on it at another friend's home in Montreal before we left for the show, this isn't something I do often as I prefer the automatic car wash!
The black Cadillac is a 75 De Ville, it's the longest 4 door hardtop Cadillac model as the Fleetwoods from the same period were 4 door sedans. The 75 Electra is also the longest Buick 4 door hardtop ever made and it's even a bit longer than the 75 Cadillac De Ville!

This is the list of most of the options it has. Some of them are quite rare.
The automatic level control, automatic power locks (the doors lock and unlock when the transmission is shifted in and out of park) and the driver and passenger side air bags are not too common on these cars either.

These cars were not available with a low washer fluid light but they did have an unused "WASHER FLUID" lens in their instrument cluster. I recently found a 76 Cadillac in a junkyard which still had it's standard low washer light so I removed the float and switch from the washer reservoir and modified it to make it fit in my Buick.

I ordered small hubcaps on Ebay for my former 74 LeSabre but I never used them. I wasn't expecting them to look too good on the Electra but I tried them anyway! Here's what the car looked like before and after:

A friend of mine who used to own my '65 Wildcat and still owns a '67 Riviera came to visit me with his Smart...

Now back with chrome wheels
