This is it , the one of a kind 1970 Oldsmobile Toronado GT tandom with the W34 packaged 455c.u 400hp/500ft.lb all appears to be number matching so far ...notched rear bumper with the dual exhaust..It was once a show car back in the day and had magazine highlights, but a shame it started wasting away, not for long, there may be some life left in this ol' girl yet! she runs strong and drives good.I will take some more picture's soon. The looks people were giving with smiles and thumbs up when i towed it home was priceless.here is some history:::::The Toronado GT was produced by Oldsmobile one year only, 1970. In this last year of the original Toronado body style (1966-70), Oldsmobile decided to provide special 'GT' badging for what had been offered simply as a 'W34' option in 1968 and 1969. The result is a unique luxury-muscle coupe. Unique because it combines 400 hp with front-wheel drive, resulting in the most hp per pound of any production FWD. Of the 25,433 Toronados built in 1970, only 5,341 were Toronado GT models. The GT provided a 455 cu V8 of 400 hp, up 25 hp from the standard 455. A 400165 performance cam and special torque converter gave this Toronado 0-60 times of 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 135 mph. Dual exhaust with a notched rear bumper and nugget gold metallic paint with black wheel arch pin-stripes and the GT hood badge, further identify the GT.thanks for looking
