Bio of me...this is the boring part, so skip it. My name is Mike, I'm 22, and I live in nasty Savannah, Georgia. I only do a few things that are exciting, autocross, road racing, and playing hockey..boring huh?

Let me also say, that this is my daily driver and my "weekend racer". I like it to look good just as much as everyone else, but above all else...it is my TRACK CAR

And a quick lesson...
Autocross
is basically driving your car as fast as possible through a tight and technical course defined by pylons or cones. This is safer than road racing and much slower, usually the course will have numerous sharp turns and slaloms.

Road Racing
is racing your car on a track, sometimes against other people. This is more fun, expensive, and dangerous than autocross. You will easily burn up a set of tires and brakes. Your car will get abused from hard driving and road debris. There is also a risk of contact from other drivers. MY FAVORITE!

Now that all that is over with, this is where I will be posting the most recent events before archiving them to later pages.

No pics of this, but I installed the JWT Clutch/Flywheel, Nismo Exhaust, APS test pipes, and REV-UP lower plenum...WOW! The clutch/flywheel was a great decision(can't believe I didn't do it sooner), it allows the car to rev so much fast, especially with the test pipes, and when I get my Central 20 gears and have them installed I hope the Z revs like an F1 car! As for the REV-UP lower plenum, I did notice a loss of power in the lower RPM, BUT it was well worth it in the higher RPM, though I feel that the rev-limiter is severely limiting it's potential!

I installed the Topspeed Pro-1 exhasut system just before Christmas...WOW it is loud! I have to leave the baffles in for now, though it will be gnarly on race days. For now it is very deep, especially in the morning, that is until about 3500 RPM, then it awakens with a loud exotic car pur! I have a buddy that is selling is Nismo exhaust and test pipes... at this point I am on the fence.

Just installed my Kinetix racing manifold and UT polished Z tube today. This is a very nice mod for N/A or F/I cars. HUGE POWER!!! I highly recommend it. Installation took roughly an hour and was relatively easy. Less the EVAP bracket I broke...oops. I also discovered that there was a slight vacuum leak where the throttle body mates to the manifold. I recommend to anyone that has this to lightly sand the manifold and use grey RTV to create an air tight seal. This manifold has been sold. It looked great, but I'm going for stealthy...like the all black Crawford Cast Manifold!

These are a few pictures that were taken of my car last week. The building behind the car is the Savannah Convention Center and the bridge is the Talmadge bridge.
