6/15/05 - New CAI

hey guys, i just installed my new MOSS Cobalt CAI. If you have an 05 like me, id stay away from this one unless you want to do some grinding and cutting on the new filter mounts to get it to fit correctly. i think the work was worth it, but i'll probably buy a new 05 CAI when they come out just so its a prefect fit with no mods from me.

heres a few pics!

Well, i havent updated in a while, so I thought now would be a good time to update. I just bought my new amp yesterday, and MTX - M3202, for my sub. i might want to drive the rear speakers with it too, but i havent decided yet what i want to do. I'll have pictures up early next week.

SOOP3R - 2005 Mini Cooper

Well, my Cooper has been delivered for a little over a month now. I have a little over 2000 miles on it so far and i'm loving every second of it! Its hands down the most fun-to-drive car ive ever owned.

My current plan for the direction of the car is to make it appear to seem like a factory S, but a non supercharged version. I like all the S badging and exhaust, but I like the gas mileage and the hood of the Cooper.

Right now I only need the exhaust, rear bumper and gas cap conversion to complete the S conversion.

The other projects on my list consist of:

~ either Union Jack or St. Georges Cross roof decal
~ factory Areo spoiler (no drill, adhesive attachment)
~ BMP/Promini CAI (Cold Air Intake)
~ Blackout head/tail light lense covers
~ S Rear bumper/exhaust
~ S Gascap conversion
~ Sirius Sattalite Radio (factory kit)
~ other small items...

Nice cooper very similar to mine, few differences with the chrome grill etc. Love the lights and bonnet decal. Check out my Cooper when you get a chance. I am currently getting the Cooper S side chrome grills with clear indicator covers and fuel cap installed.Still working on designing a roof decal, can't make up my mind.
