Well first of all yes thats right, that is a 350 5.7 V8 Chevrolet Tahoe engine; and the Tranny is from the 95 Tahoe as well.


The conversion process was a little intense and yes very stressful. First the engine mounts which were made out of a very dense steel, were actually cannobolised onto the original mounts.
Once the engine was mounted we hooked up the tranny which took quite a struggle. We then took the engine off the hoist. Then came the fun stuff. For better performane and to protect the engine I hooked up an MDS 6AL ignition controller, 8.5 mm ignition wires and an OEM MSD ignition coil.


For my Hedders I went with some Hedman Hedders, which just kick major ass.
