I included the 5 farad Soundstream SC-5CA cap as a compliment to the HO alernator. Plus the ESR is super low at .000.. so i'm not one of those quick fixit tpes. It's just to optimize response time for current demands and filter any existing AC ripple caused by the alternator itself. I'll reinstall it and move it...somewhere.
These are pics of the rear and top of the cabinet encasing the actual sub enclosure. It was contoured to look "fitted" to the hatch for as smooth of an appearance as possible without actually being molded to the interior with filler.
Considering gutting this center console and running a pair of 8" off one of the remaining channels of one of the 1600.2's. We'll see. Don't bite, though.
