I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK IN APRIL 2002 FOR $1000 AN IT HAD A WHOOPED 351M (YUCK). I BLEW THAT UP AFTER 1000 MILES OF HARD RUNNIN. SO I BUILT A 400M THAT PUT THE TRUCK AT 14.6 AT 98MPH IN THE 1/4 MILE. HAD BODYWORK DONE BY A FRIEND OF MY DAD'S AT MEMORIES IN MOTION BODY SHOP IN CRESTON OHIO. THE OLD BED WAS ROTTEN SO I PICKED UP A BED FROM ARKANSAS FOR $525 FOR A rust free 8ft bed. PAID $350 AND A MINIBIKE FOR THE PAINTJOB. I PUT A 2600 STALL CONVERTER IN IT, A SHIFT KIT IN THE C6, AND 3.5:1 POSI GEARS. IT HAS 295/50/15 ON THE BACK AN WILL BURN EM OFF!!!

i blew up the 400 this november so a .060 over 460 is in the process of rebuilding. specs will be up soon on the new engine.
here is the new engine: 1972 ford 460 bored out to 472, has a balanced bottom end, lunati 292 hydroulic cam, ported stock heads, weiand stealth intake, hedman hedders, gear drive cam set, accel super coil, hi strength valve springs, and a holley 650 on top for now. i need an 850 holley for it to really run. my guess is it is about 480+hp. VERY SNAPPY ENGINE!!!!! as soon as i can, i'll run it in the 1/4 an post the times.
