Last year
1998 C5 Coupe, Torch Red with black interior, 6-speed, 53,000 miles. 250W BOSE CD stereo.

This year
8,767 Torch Red 1998 Corvettes were made. 31,084 total 1998 production.
7,106 6-speeds in 1998 as well.
Due to the mileage the first year I had it I spent doing the following maintenance:
Fuel filter
Plugs
Wires
Cleaned T-body
New T-stat
New upper/lower rad hoses
New fuel pressure regulator
Changed diff fluid
Changed coolant
Changed trans fluid
Changed clutch fluid
Changed brake fluid
Changed power steering fluid
Cleaned T-body
Oil/filter
New PCV
New belts
One rotten fuel pressure hose
GM top engine clean
Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner
50 Watt fog lamp bulbs
Added a K&N air induction kit

I did all the above and other replaced non-engine items were done by myself.
I have already added a metal gas pedal and a two tone torch red and black shift boot, 1999 GM door sill covers all from Mid America. The original gas pedal was plastic but the clutch and brake were metal so the plastic one had to go!
I also found the factory luggage shade and parcel net which was an option on the car, brand new from Covettes of Houston. Also obtained used body side moldings and the matching red roof panel.

First bath. Me the vette and the vibe.
The rear of the car now has stainless tips and I painted the Corvette inlay black, no cheap stickers here!

Other cars:
2003 Pontiac Vibe Base. Red, auto, moons & tunes and a few 05 Vibe goodies. Stock, my wifes.
2003 Chrysler GT PT Cruiser Turbo. Black auto, 215 HP 245 Lbs. Tq. Daily ride. Kind of a sleeper... Kills: One Dodge Hemi Magnum and one Acura thing, highway run over 100 MPH.
