Here's my 1986 XR4Ti in Nimbus Grey Metallic paint. These are the actual pix from the eBay auction (except the one of the speedo). I have others but I'm lazy and don't know where they are! LOL! Also I don't have a digital camera so it takes me a while to get pix up but I'll try and do more later.

The first year I owned the car it got hit 3 times!!! Twice on the drivers door (which was damaged when I bought it anyway) and once in the left rear. Had to replace the bumper but thank fully there wasn't any other damage.

Mods I've done:

Added an alarm & auto start system. I'm currently working on a way to add an actuator to the drivers door so I can use the alarms door unlock feature. In the future I may add a device that will let me start the car by dialing a phone number but gotta do more reading on that.

A K&N air filer in the stock intake box. (p/n:E-1931)

Added a 150 MPH Speedo.

3" down pipe. (p/n: SVO-7200)

Got the head from an 85 SVO Mustang ported and polished with larger 1.59" exhaust valves. At the time I had to do all this quickly so I didn't use larger intake valves, just had to go with what was on hand.

Ported E6 exhaust manifold.

Custom dual exhaust with a 3" hi-flow Catco catalytic converter (p/n: CTO-6907), going into a Magnaflow universal muffler (p/n: 12198) with a 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets.

New control arms from BAT.

Newly rebuilt ZF steering rack.

Hey man, thanks for checking out my ride. Your Merkur looks to be in great condition. What mods you have in mind in the future? -Kevin
