Death Valley
This was a mild trip, mostly just pre-running dirt roads....... The weather couldn't have been any better and we did a lot of sightseeing. The first day we went out towards the racetrack and visited the "Moving Rocks". From there we crossed Hunter's Mountain where there was still snow on the ground. The roads got a bit muddy so we had some fun in the puddles. Day two took half the group to the waterfalls and the others to Mosaic Canyon, then met up in Ballarat. Went through Goler Wash/Mengal Pass, into Butte Valley Sunday night found an empty Adopt-A-Cabin to set up camp. Monday we exit Butte Valley on Warm Canyon Rd.and head to Furnace Creek where we stayed at the campgrounds.
