Hi Tony ....Looking forward to seeing you and that super Pinto in Carlisle PA in June , 2011 for the All Ford Show featuring the 40th Anniversary of the Pinto. Check out info. at the Ford Pinto Car Club Of America web site http://www.fordpinto.com/ It should be a blast to have a great bunch of Pinto enthusiasts all in one place.

People forget that when these cars were built, they were getting hit by full size V8 cars with full frames. Now most of the vehicles are unibody, just like the pinto's. It would take one hell of a crash to blow one up now. By the way, my 1993 volkswagon blew up when I got hit. All cars can burn!!!!!
