Here we have it ladies and gents, the lovely 1997 Ford Taurus ~*GoLd RuSh*~.
Ok to get this going im going to start from electronics to mechanics.

The system as you will see on page 3 consist of 1x 12 inch sub from audiobahn. SuB SpEcZ:Audiobahn alum12q Q-series sub, DVC, 2000watts max 1000watts RMS(You can give it more then 1000watts, the subs can take it.)This sub runs 6Ohm operation.

The amplifier is also from audiobahn. AmPlIfIeR SpEcZ: Audiobahns A8000T | 4Ohmsx1=600wattz | 2Ohmsx1=800wattz. Currently wires to A 2Ohm operation for total of 800wattz to my sub. *&*ANYONE LIVE IN MICHIGAN IAM WILLING TO SELL MY TAURUS TO USE AS A DOWNPAYMENT I ASK 2650 OBO MECHANIC OWNED WELL MAINTAINED ACCIDENT FREE SOME MINOR EXTERIOR FLAWS NOTHING SERIOUS OPTIONAL SOUND SYSTEM ADD IN FOR AN ADDITIONAL $1,400. MY EMAIL IS DECIPHER1013@COMCAST.NET EMAIL ME IF YOUR INTERESTED SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY PLEASE, AND I DO NOT SHIP OR DRIVE THIS VEHICLE TO ANYONE COMES WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS.&*&

The well nick named juice holder(capacitor) Is a 2 farand cap 12v from Tsunami works wonders with it, havent had a dead battery in forever.

New picz coming soon* upgraded my sounds from 1 sub to another one, same amp hooked up phased properly, dynamtted trunk lid wedged rear deck, sound board behind the licenses plate(is better then a dynamat kit) huge sealed box, could be going ported soon im not sure yet.

Looks like your in the same spot as me. I got no time / money, but big plans! Go for it though, stuff is hella hard to find though let me warn you and you will have to do a ton of custom work to even make that stuff work. If i had the option to do it again, I hate to say it but get the camaro!

Thanks for checking out my car. I bought the back piece like that, it came off of an SHO. The best source for all your answers is the TCCA: www.taurusclub.com

Oh, and before the chip, if I floored the car, straight from brake to gas, it would chirp. Now it squeals!

in my SHO and now in the mustang i have Infinity Reference 6x8" components and they sound great to me. i think it's more a matter of opinion when it comes to what's the best out there. my components were $200 everywhere except for www.ikesound.com, they were like $119 or something, go to that site and check out their stuff. good luck!
