This is what the interior looked like befor I began to MOD it to my liking. All ebony and leather completly stock. The interior face lift is just begining. Custom trunk black mat with the Monte Carlo SS in red to match the exterior custom decals Interior matching floor mats that matches the exterior decals and the trunk. April 16, 2005 The seat covers are in along with the stearing wheel cover. Both are black/grey. May 19, 2005 The door sill protectors have been installed. They have a custom red center to match all the other Monte Carlo SS emblems. I tried it with the green center but I did not cut it looked hoaky!! Image on the left is the driver side close up, and image on the right is the passenger side. This is all 3 emblems from the passenger side of the Monte. The center caps are also custom with painted centers and red SS decals to match the others The rear with the exhaust tips installed Under the hood shots. Nothing but stock as of yet but it still looks good! Night shots of the head/fog lights. The Head and Brights are lit by Sylvania Silverstar. So I can see through the lamp covers, and the fog lights are lit with Eurolit3. Left is without a flash and Right is with the flash. August 27, 2005 the Power Slot 11.9 in front and rear rotors were installed. As well as the Raybestos Quiet Stop Ceramic Brake Pads. I'm Christina and this is my Dark Forest Green 2002 Monte Carlo SS with a custom deck stripe and ram air hood. When I purchased the Monte back in June of 2004 it only had 19,xxx miles on it and was completly stock. I am 3rd owner and it was a rental/leased vehicle. It was in excellent shape like brand new, when I bought it. It began as a daily driver, but due to the high cost of paint touch up's and repairs on vandalism and break in's it is a pleasure vehicle only! I have owned it long enough now to start making it mine! I have made serious exterior mods and have future performance mods planned. I started the mods in January of this year (not that they were not being planned before this) Sad to say it but it all takes time. Check back often as things seem to change on a regular basis. Jan 03, 2005 These are some of the pics of the major transformation during the week of Jan 3-8 2005. Other exterior MODS have been made since then and can be seen throughout the site. Window tint 20% on all windows. Make way for changes Removal of stock hood, side mirrors which were black, and window moldings that were damaged due to crappy buffing work. Spoiler removed and body taped off for prep to be painted. Hood being prepped for paint and then being prepped for the custom stripe Left shot is the hood after being painted green and taped off for red trim. Right is after the completion of the silver. Completed and assembled hood. With installed lamp covers in the right picture. Trunk being prepped for red/silver paint. Then the trunk after the silver was completed. Custom painted Chevy Bowtie in progress Completed and assembled trunk and spoiler with painted Chevy Bowtie. Completed roof with a break for the moon roof. Red Monte Carlo SS decals located on both sides and the trunk done in red. Stock emblems were green with the red SS.
