"Start dancing. Start pushing the envelope. Start dreaming in color. Start Something." This was the opening line to the 1999 Alero brouchure, which was the beginning of the era of Alero. Many people on this site are familiar with my Museum Of Wholesome Automotive Goodness,
***SUPREMEBROUGHAM***, and know how much I love all things Oldsmobile. It only seemed fitting that I should own another Oldsmobile. This 2004 Alero Brougham Sedan, in Sandstone Metallic, was built a few weeks before the Final 500 Editions. What makes the Alero special among Oldsmobile faithful is the fact that it was the last Lansing, Michigan built Oldsmobile. Lansing was the home of Oldsmobile.


I am thrilled that I had the opportunity to purchase "A New Oldsmobile" one last time. I plan to keep it largely and for the most part original, because I hope to keep it as a collectible.
