Hey! Thanks for checking out our 79 Trans Am! It's definitely a work in progress, but we can't wait to get it finished, which is definitely going to take some time, but with a lot of hard work, we're sure it'll turn out nicely. We're also firm believers that you don't have to make your car look fast if it really is. So none of this flashy, gaudy crap is going on our car.
This is our car that we bought on Dec. 12 of 2004. It came with the 6.6 Liter 403 Olds motor and a Turbo-hydramatic 350 Automatic transmission. The 403 motor is notorious for having low horsepower numbers due to the crappy compression. As far as I can remember, it's about 8.0 to 1 from the factory. We're gonna fix that by raising the compression and flow with a set of flat-top pistons, dyno matched cam, lifters, and an intake from Edelbrock, and Hooker Headers. We're also gonna start looking for a new set of rear end gears. Basically right now all we want to do is get the car running, and drivable. Thanks for looking, and check back for updates as this is an on going project!

This is the driver side interior, which is in really good condition, except for some cracks in the dash. We're also probably gonna re-upholster the seats with black leather. If not, we're gonna get some reproduction leather seats.

Here's a scan of our Build Sheet we found.

This is only a small portion of rust we found hidden on the car.

Some under body and chassis pictures.

Here is one of the many patch panels that were rivited and
bondo'd to the car after the original owner had an accident.

The engine, it's dirty. It's out now, we just gotta get the pressure washer out and clean that mug!

Kinda what the car looked like a long time ago. Now the front subframe, dash, engine, tranny, steering column, and electrical system are out. More Pictures to come!
