While I'm at it, I MIGHT AS WELL replace the clutch, since I plan on big power. Stillen sent me this one by overnight courier. Some think the Centreforce Dual Friction does not hold as well as others, but I have been very happy so far. Smooth engagement, no slipping and pedal feel is lighter than stock! I will update after I pass 300WHP... Original clutch is in upper right corner of pic. It is cooked!
Clutch in place. If you look closely, you can see I left Centerforce sticker on pressure plate, the only sticker on entire car. Every teenager knows the real power comes from stickers, and since this sticker won't be seen.... then again, with my luck it will probably peel itself off and f*ck up the whole clutch.
Update: Dec 2007. I don't have the Centreforce clutch anymore. I have nothing but good things to say about centreforce. I burned up the clutch twice, and twice they worked with me to replace it then upgrade the clutch for free or cheap. On the second Centreforce fix - job, they told me the friction disk was contaminated with oil. I didn't believe them. But it was true. After THAT clutch started slipping, I took everything apart AGAIN and found I had a very small leak in the rear main seal. Repalced the seal, and put in a SPEC stage 3+ clutch; as it is rated for much more power than the Centreforce.
I still give Centreforce top marks for a great clutch and great customer service!

WHILE I'M AT IT, I might as well replace the stock y-pipe; since transmission removal requires y-pipe removal. The new one is from Warpspeed Performance and deletes the pre-cats and unnecessary bends of factory y-pipe for much improved flow. It weighs about 10 pounds less, and doesn't increase noise. NICE!
